The BERLIN Scarf ist ein extragroßer, extrawarmer Schal mit dekorativen Fransen – perfekt, um sich an kalten Tage einzukuscheln.

The scarf is knitted smoothly on the right in rounds as a ‘tube’ and is double-layered. The fringes are also knitted and are finally worked directly on the shawl in double knitting technology. A project that is best suited for beginners, as it does not require many techniques.

Techniques used: Provisional mesh stop, double knitting technique. All techniques used are explained in the instructions.

Size
One Size
Length (without fringes): approximately 200 cm.
Width: approximately 26 – 27 cm.
Length of the fringes: approximately 18 cm.

Gauge
Smooth right in rounds with Nd 7.0 mm: 13 M x 17 R = 10 x 10 cm (unwashed, unstretched),
14 M x 15 R = 10 x 10 cm (washed, slightly stretched in length)
Select a different needle size if necessary to adapt the gauges.

Needles
Rundstricknadel 7,0 mm / 60 cm,
Circular knitting needle 6.0 mm / 60-80 cm (for the fringes)

300 g of “Børstet Alpakka” by Sandnes Garn (96 % alpaca, 4 % nylon; LL 110 m / 50 g)
