MERLE LOOP SWEATER is a soft and comfortable sweater with raglan sleeves, a characteristic twisted roller collar and merged strips.

The Merle Loop Sweater is worked from top to bottom with stripes. First the neck cut is made in rounds, then raglan increases are made on the pass. The body and sleeves are knitted in rounds and ended with edges in the rib pattern. Finally, the roller collar is folded onto the inside, displaced and sewn on.

The sweater is designed with a range of movement of 25-35 cm. Therefore, you should choose a size where the breast circumference is 25-35 cm larger than your own breast circumference, depending on how loosely the sweater should fall. 
The sweater in the manual is depicted with a range of movement of 34 cm.

The entire sweater is knitted from 1 thread of bouclé in one color and with 1 thread of Alpaca 2, but these alternately in Fb. A and Fb. B. 

The sweater in the guide is in Bouclé in Fb. E6S und Alpaca 2 in Fb. E0+60.

Recommended needles

4,5 mm circular knitting needle (40 and 80 or 100 cm).
4 mm double-pointed needles, unless knitted with the Magic Loop method.

Gauge
16 stitches x 26 rows smooth right on needle 4.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm, after washing and tensioning.
