LACEY LOOP TOP has a classic cut, a wide submarine neckline and fine details of stripes in left stitches, a feminine hole pattern and a characteristic ribbed tuft.

It works from top to bottom. First, stitches are strung for the back, after which knitting is done in rows with shortened rows to form the upper part of the back. Thereafter, stitches are picked up at the shoulder edges and the shoulders are made separately in rows before they are connected to the front and new stitches are made between them. The front and rear sides shall be connected to the fuselage. This is worked in rounds before it is finished with a ribbed tuft in a hole pattern and with left stitches. The entire top is worked with stripes of left stitches and a pattern of holes following a simple diagram. In the first part of the manual, the diagram is also described row by row.
