LACE LOOP SWEATER has a loose cut, a classic round neck and impresses with sporty stripes, as well as a feminine hole pattern.
The sweater is worked from top to bottom. First, stitches are strung for the back, after which knitting is done in rows with shortened rows to form the upper part of the back. Thereafter, stitches are picked up along the shoulder edges and the shoulders are produced separately in rows. Both shoulder parts are connected to the front and new stitches are attached centrally between them. The front and rear sides are connected to the body, which is knitted downwards in rounds and ended with a ribbed tuft, and is chained off in Italian. Stitches for a ribbon in the rib pattern are picked up and knitted around the neckline. For a great conclusion, the last 4 rounds are made in double knit, followed by the Italian chain. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the arm cutouts and worked down in rounds before finishing with ribbed frets and the Italian finish. Stripes and hole patterns are knitted over the entire sweater following a simple diagram. For the first part of the instructions, the diagram is also described row by row.
