Designed for the Isager Archives 2 collection 2025
The Alice Jacket is knitted from top to bottom. First, stitches are struck in the neck and then knitted back and forth in strips with increases for the shoulder. Once the shoulders have the final width, double moss stitch is knitted on the back until the arm neckline depth is reached.
At the same time, a small triangle pattern is created in the center of the back using intarsia technology.
The back part shall be placed at a standstill while stitches for the front parts shall be picked up along each shoulder and a triangle pattern shall be knitted up to the lower end of the arm cut-outs as shown in the diagram. The front parts are joined to the back part and the rest of the torso is knitted according to the diagram.
It is knitted all around on all the bezels and the collar in the double knit.
The sleeves are knitted one after the other. Stitches are knitted up along the arm cutouts and the sleeve dome is formed with the aid of shortened rows. In the intarsia technique, strips according to the diagram are knitted, whereby stitches are taken off along the inner side of the sleeve.
When the sleeves have reached the desired length, it is closed with a double knit aperture.
