The Maren tea is knitted from top to bottom, starting with the collar. Shortened rows are used to achieve a perfect fit for the back and neckline. The front and back are worked separately. The stitches are then picked up along the leading edge and the cut-out is knitted. Subsequently, from the arm cutouts, the front and back are connected and the knitting is continued in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round.

The Maren tea has a relaxed fit and is made for a positive ease of about 20 cm, this has been slightly reduced in larger sizes to ensure a more beautiful fit.

The sizes XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL are intended for an actual breast circumference of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm

Before you start, measure your breast circumference to choose the right size. For example, if the breast circumference is 90 cm, a size M should be chosen. If you are between two sizes, choose that size based on how loose the sweater should be. The size of a finished garment as a reference can be helpful in deciding which size to choose.
