The MARTA Cardigan is an airy lightweight mohair cardigan with small collar and narrow sleeves. Optionally, 2 different hem and sleeve closures can be worked (Smooth Patent or I-Cord).

The Cardigan is knitted from top to bottom in one piece by means of shoulder fit increases and stitch pickups from the knitted parts. First of all, the rear collar is used by means of prov. Stop started and knitted in both directions. Subsequently, stitches are picked up from the longitudinal side of the collar and increases are knitted along the shoulder fit, wherein shortened rows (optional) are simultaneously worked at the beginning for forming the rear neck cutout.

After all the increases have been worked along the shoulder fit, first the right front part, then the back part, finally the left front part is knitted up to the arm cutouts, then joined together again under the arms and the lower part is ended together. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the arm cutout and knitted in rounds.

Due to the top-down technique and the straight boxy cut, the model can be adjusted very easily in lengths. The Cardigan can be worn both casually open and look very feminine with a narrow belt. The narrow scarf collar flatters and wonderfully warms the neck. Due to the narrow sleeves, the MARTA Summer Cardigan also fits perfectly under a rain park and will thus accompany you wonderfully through the autumn and winter.

The instructions contain a detailed model sketch with all dimensions, a blank sketch for notes or conversions, and a technical drawing for the shortened rows on the rear neckline.
