The cap is knitted from the bottom to the top, starting at the fret. The manual contains both a knitting font and an advertised variant, so that you can proceed in your preferred working style. I knitted all the braids without a braid needle on my hat, as I find that this is much faster and less elaborate. In the manual, a video tutorial is linked.
