The Siri Cardigan with braid pattern is a manageable project. The few but well-placed braids are combined with a small, fine pattern in a double moss stitch that looks great in both a voluminous blow yarn and a combination of wool and mohair. The Siri Cardigan has a braid on both sleeves and two braids on both fronts. The back is made exclusively in a double moss stitch.

Konstruktion
The cardigan is worked from top to bottom. Apertures and collars on the neck cutout are made last. First, raglan increases are made and the neckline on the fronts is formed by shortened rows. Afterwards, the pass is divided into body and sleeve and all parts are completed separately. The sleeves are knitted in rounds. The first rows are described in detail row by row and shown in the diagram. The chart provides a much faster overview than the text, so I would recommend following the chart or a combination of chart and text, but choose the method that suits you.

The Siri Cardigan is designed with a range of movement (positive ease) of about 18-25 cm. The cut is flexible, so choose a larger or smaller size, depending on how much room for movement your jacket should have. The length can also be easily adjusted. The jacket shown is shown with a range of movement of about 22 cm.

Recommended knitting needles
Circular knitting needle 4.5 and 6 mm (40 and 80 cm).
double-pointed needles 4.5 mm. If you knit with the Magic Loop method, the double-pointed needles is eliminated.

Gauge
15.5 stitches x approx. 26 rows in double moss stitch = 10 x 10 cm on 6 mm needles, after washing. In my experience, the combination of Saga + Tilia grows by approx. ½ stitch in width after washing.
