Rita Skirt

Shortened rows and stripes of smooth right and smooth left form this fine skirt, which is not only wonderfully simple to knit, but is also excellently adjustable in size, as it is worked crosswise.

Hüftweite
Hip width of the skirt: (77) 82 (87) 93 (99) 106 cm
Fits a hip width: (90) 96 (102) 109 (117) 125 cm

Since the skirt is knitted transversely, the circumference can be easily adjusted so that the skirt can be made for all sizes. The pattern is elastic, so the circumference of the skirt is smaller than the actual circumference on the body (negative ease). In the instructions (and in the pictures), the hip circumference of the skirt is about 15% smaller than the hip circumference of the model. If you prefer a looser seated skirt, you can knit it longer. Then consider the changed quantity of yarn.

Länge
All sizes can be worked in 3 different lengths, with each about 44, 46 and 48 cm. The skirt shown is 46 cm long. The numbers of the 3 different lengths are separated by swashbuckles (/). The hip area measures about 16 cm + 4 cm fret.

Sandnes Garn Tynn Peer Gynt (100% Wolle, 50 g = 205 m).

yarn consumption
Gråmelert 1042: (250) 250-300 (300) 300-350 (350) 350-400 g.
Remaining thread for the provisional beat-up.

Accessories rubber band, 3 cm wide. Or rubber band for pants.

Recommended needles
Circular knitting needle 3 mm (60-80 cm), circular knitting needle 2.5 mm (60 cm) for the coil

Gauge
27 M x about 36 rows smooth right = 10 x 10 cm on needle 3 mm.
