If you are an absolute beginner, you can optionally omit the shortened rows in the neck. The instructions include explanations for short and long sleeves.
Construction, detailed version (as in the picture)
The Plain Yoke Cashmere is knitted from top to bottom with an elevation in the neck, which is made with shortened rows (GSR, german short rows). During the shortened rows, knitting is done smoothly on the right (i.e. knitting on the right side, knitting on the left side) in back and forth rows. Apart from the GSR, the sweater is knitted almost exclusively smoothly on the right in rounds. The round pass is formed with increases.
Construction, beginner version
The Plain Yoke Cashmere is knitted from top to bottom. Almost everything is knitted smoothly on the right in rounds, i.e. only right stitches. The circular pass is formed with increases. The only difference to the detailed version is that the neck front and back are the same. The knitting instructions are sent as a PDF file to your e-mail address.

The Plain Yoke Cashmere is designed with a positive ease of 4-8 cm. The sweaters are shown with a range of movement of about 8 cm.
Take measurement from your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) and choose the size based on it (the front shows the finished dimensions of the sweater). The positive ease is the difference between the finished knit piece and your measurements. For example, if your breast circumference is 94 cm, you get a Gr. M has a range of movement of 4 cm (98 cm – 94 cm = 4 cm). The length is measured centrally on the rear side starting from the stop edge.
