The Plain Yoke Blouse is a beginner-friendly sweater with round pass. If you are an absolute beginner, you can optionally omit the shortened rows in the neck. Follow the pattern of the beginner version, which is knitted exclusively in rounds. The detailed version has shortened rows in the neck, knitted according to the neckline, but otherwise the two versions are identical.

Konstruktion
The Plain Yoke Blouse is knitted from top to bottom with an elevation in the neck, which is made with shortened rows (GSR, german short rows). During the shortened rows, knitting is done smoothly on the right (i.e. knitting on the right side, knitting on the left side) in back and forth rows. Apart from the GSR, the sweater is knitted exclusively smoothly on the right in rounds. The round pass is formed with increases.

Construction, beginner version
The Plain Yoke Blouse is knitted from top to bottom. Everything is knitted smoothly on the right in rounds, i.e. only right stitches. The circular pass is formed with increases. The only difference to the detailed version is that the neck front and back are the same.

Größenwahl
The Plain Yoke Blouse is designed with a positive ease of 8-16 cm. The brown, the olive green and the blue sweater are shown with a range of movement of about 13 cm. The red and the light tweed sweater have a range of motion of 8 cm.
Take measurement from your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) and choose the size based on it (the front shows the finished dimensions of the sweater). The positive ease is the difference between the finished knit piece and your measurements. For example, if your breast circumference is 94 cm, you get a Gr. M has a range of movement of 15 cm (109 cm – 94 cm = 15 cm). * The length is measured centrally on the back, excluding the neck lining.

Circular knitting needle 4 mm (40 and 80 cm).
Rundstricknadel 3,5 mm (80 cm).

double-pointed needles 3.5 mm. If you knit with the Magic Loop method, the double-pointed needles is eliminated.

Gauge
21 stitches x about 31 rows smooth right with 2 threads = 10 x 10 cm on needle 4 mm.
