The Mikala Sweater is inspired by the graphic knitting patterns of the 1990s, but also strongly by the traditional fishing cardigan, whose roots go back even further. The Mikala Sweater has a raglan cut and a varied pattern that is easy to knit, as the pattern is only done in the first rows.
Konstruktion
The Mikala Sweater is worked from top to bottom. The collar on the neck cutout is last. First, the single-colored part is knitted, with the neck cutout formed with shortened rows. First on the sleeves, then on both sides of the front. Simultaneously with the shortened rows, raglan increases are made. After that, the pass is knitted in rounds with patterns and raglan increments before the body and sleeves are completed separately, i.e. the pattern is worked only in the outward rows.

Größenwahl
The Mikala Sweater is designed with a range of movement (positive ease) of 12-18 cm. The sweater shown here has a range of movement of 18 cm. Take measurement from your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) and choose the size based on it (the front shows the finished dimensions of the sweater). The positive ease is the difference between the finished knit piece and your measurements.
For example, if your breast circumference is 94 cm, you get a Gr. M has a range of movement of 14 cm (108 cm – 94 cm = 14 cm).
*Length is measured centrally on the back, excl. the collar.
