The Mascara Sweater is worked from the bottom up, as the knitting direction best fits the strip pattern. Nevertheless, the sweater does not have to be sewn together, as the sleeves with a 3. affix needle to the torso. The delicate stripe pattern is very simple, since only one color is knitted at the same time.

Konstruktion
The sweater is worked from the bottom up. First, the fuselage is made in rounds on a circular knitting needle up to the arm cutouts. From here, the front and back are completed separately in rows. The shoulder bevels are formed by shortened rows on the front and back, and finally the shoulder stitches are knitted together and knitted together with a 3. needle chained. Stitches for the neck tuft are picked up and knitted around the neck cutout. The sleeves are also made from the bottom up and at the end with a 3. Needle with the received stitches knitted together around the arm cutouts and chained.

Größenwahl
The Mascara Sweater is designed with a range of movement (positive ease) of 8-18 cm. The depicted version has a range of movement of 11 cm. Take measurement from your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) and choose the size based on it (the front shows the finished dimensions of the sweater). The positive ease is the difference between the finished knit piece and your measurements. For example, if your breast circumference is 94 cm, you get a Gr. S/M has a range of movement of 11 cm (105 cm – 94 cm = 11 cm). The length is measured centrally on the back, including the neck lining.

Isager Silk Mohair (75% Mohair, 25% Silke, 25 g = 212 m) together with Isager Alpaca 2 (50% Alpaka, 50% wool, 50 grams 250 meters).
Alpaca 2 main color: (200) 200 (250) 250 (300) 300g
Alpaca 2 Contrast color: all sizes 1 strand
Silk Mohair Hauptfarbe: (125) 125 (125-150) 150 (150-175) 175 g
Silk Mohair contrast color: all sizes 1 ball

Recommended needles
circular knitting needle 3 and 4 mm (40 and 80 cm),
double-pointed needles 3 and 4 mm. If you knit with the Magic Loop method, the double-pointed needles can be omitted,
evtl. Circular knitting needle 2,5 mm (80 cm) for the Italian mesh stop.

Gauge
21 M x 29 rows smooth right on needle 4 mm = 10 x 10 cm (after washing and tensioning).
Note: The entire sweater is knitted in two threads, i.e. 1 thread/quality.
