Facet Sweater is a raglan sweater with a small, graphic pattern. This consists of three colors; however, only one thread is knitted at a time and since the tension threads are short, the sweater is easy to work with. Since not much yarn is needed for the pattern colors, the Facet Sweater is an ideal project for yarn residues. You can also use “play” with the pattern and more than two pattern colors.

Konstruktion
The sweater is worked from top to bottom. The first 12 rows are in rows. Thereafter, further knitting is carried out in rounds. Once the pass with the raglan increases is completed, the body and sleeves are worked separately smoothly on the right in rounds and finished with ribbed tufts. The length is measured centrally on the back, excluding the neck lining.

The Facet Sweater is designed with a positive ease of 12-20 cm, depending on how loosely it should sit. The red/bordeaux sweater is depicted with a range of movement of about 17 cm. The sweater in the blue/bordeaux pattern is with a range of movement of about 20 cm. The sweater in the blue/brown pattern is depicted with a range of movement of about 13 cm.
Take measurement from your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body) and choose the size based on it (the front shows the finished dimensions of the sweater). The positive ease is the difference between the finished knit piece and your measurements. For example, if your breast circumference is 94 cm, you get a Gr. M has a margin of movement of 17 cm (111 cm – 94 cm = 17 cm).

Knitting needles & gauge

Recommended needles
Circular knitting needle 3,5 and 4,5 mm (40 and 80 cm).
double-pointed needles 3.5 and 4.5 mm for the smaller sizes.
If you knit with the Magic Loop method, the double-pointed needles can be omitted.

Gauge
22 stitches x about 26 rows with 1 thread/quality = 10 x 10 cm smooth right in the pattern on needle 4.5 mm.
