Ella Cardigan has a gorgeous pass with leaf pattern and is not hard to knit. The Cardigan is knitted from top to bottom and is a little higher in the neck towards the neckband for a better fit.

Ella Cardigan is worked from top to bottom. At the top, shortened rows are made to shape the neckline. Afterwards, a round pass is knitted and the body and sleeves are completed separately. Finally, the bezels and the collar are made on the neck cutout and the buttons are sewn on.

The Ella Cardigan is designed with a range of movement (positive ease) of 16-20 cm. It is shown here with a range of movement of 20 cm.
When choosing the size, you take measure of your chest circumference (or the widest part of your upper body). Then first look at the measurements in the pattern (this is the finished measurement of the cardigan). The positive ease is the difference between your personal measure and the measure of the cardigan. If your chest circumference is e.g. 94 cm, you have 10 cm room for movement (104 cm – 94 cm = 10 cm) for size M.
With size L, you have 18 cm room for movement (112 cm – 94 cm = 18 cm).
*Length is measured centrally on the back, excl. the collar.
