The Boyfriend Sweater It has a wide fit. Worked from top to bottom, it is designed from a combination of saddle shoulder and raglan that gives the sweater the perfect boyfriend look. The sweater is knitted on a 4 mm needle, so it is not too warm or heavy. It is therefore excellent as a basic sweater that fits almost everything. I knit the sweater in two variants. The bright one, here in Gr. S, is knitted from thin wool with a thin alpaca thread. The blue gray, here in Gr. M, is knitted from an even thinner wool thread with 1 thread mohair.

Konstruktion
The entire work is knitted with 1 thread/quality each. The sweater is worked in one piece from top to bottom. First, the neck/shoulders is done with increases for the saddle shoulders and neck cutout. Once the back and later the neckline for the front is formed, the pass is knitted in rounds. After the shoulder increases, raglan increases are made and the pass is divided for the arm cutouts, so that the torso and sleeves are completed separately. The collar is at the end. The specified length is measured centrally on the back (excl. the neck lining).

Selection of size
The fit is oversize and the sweater was designed with a positive ease of movement of about 30-40 cm. The light sweater has a range of movement of 31 cm, the blue-gray 40 cm.

Recommended needles
Circular knitting needle 3 and 4 mm (40 and 80 cm).
double-pointed needles 3 and 4 mm. The double-pointed needles can be omitted if knitted with the Magic Loop method.

Gauge
21 M x about 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm smooth right on needle 4 mm with 1 thread/quality.
