Axel. No sweater, no poncho, but warm and cuddly. Axel can be worn with right or left stitches on the outside, but is knitted smoothly on the right. The manual contains two variants. The differences are so minimal that your choice has no fatal consequences, but opt for variant A if you want to wear Axel mainly with the left side outside and variant B if the smooth right knitted side should be on the outside. The only difference is in the right or left mesh on the outside of the shoulders.

Konstruktion
The work is knitted in one piece from top to bottom with a neckline on the front. This is formed with shortened rows, which takes place directly after the roll collar. The shoulders are formed by increases in each row. Once these are completed, the work is divided in the middle, so that the front and back are made separately until after the arm cutouts. The work is then knitted again in rounds over all the stitches downwards.

Größenwahl
Axel has a very flexible cut and can be worn further or tighter. Choose your regular size if Axel should sit loosely or go up a size if he should fall even further like a poncho. The model in the photo wears a gr in a regular XS/S here. S.

Yarn and yarn consumption
Isager Alpaca2 (50% alpaca, 50% merino lamb wool, 50 g = 250 m) and Highland Wool (100% wool, 50 g = 275 m). All work is knitted with 1 thread per quality.
Alpaca2: (150) 150 (200) 200 (200) 250 (250) g
Highland Wool: (150) 150 (150) 200 (200) 200 (250) g

Recommended needles
Circular knitting needles 3 mm (40 and 80 cm) and 3,5 mm (80 cm).

Gauge
21 M smooth right=10 cm in width on a 4 mm needle with 1 thread/quality.
