All rulers in this series are sawn from a wonderfully smooth wood quality: Scandinavian birch made of environmentally friendly & sustainable installation & mining, FSC certified! The rulers have a clear laser inscription and are then finely ground for the special touch.
How does the sock ruler work?
Tanja Steinbach „Ich stricke meine Socken am liebsten mit der Jojo- Ferse (auch Bumerang-Ferse genannt), daher habe ich das Lineal auch für diese Technik konzipiert.
Note: The ruler also works with other heels, the choice of the tip is more important, as it – depending on the technique – is sometimes different in length. I knit the tape tip.
Classically knitted downwards from the bundle, for 4 times, 6 times or 8 times sock yarn, for sock or shoe sizes 30 – 47.
On the sock ruler you will find a scale to the left of the centimeter scale, which shows you the corresponding length, when the sock tip (band tip) should be started. For this, simply push the ruler into the sock up to the heel wall and then read whether the required length has already been reached.
In addition, on the sock ruler you will find a small overview of the respective mesh size for the different sock sizes & yarn thicknesses, a practical needle size and also a scale with the entire foot length of finished socks - so you can quickly measure which sock size you currently hold in your hands.
I am completely in love with the small, fine sock ruler for the smallest sock sizes! Isn't it sweet? Just 22cm long and only a few centimeters wide hides here the practical overview for the mesh stop for the different sizes on the back, all other information can be found as usual on the front!
Das 4-fach Sockenlineal Babys & Kinder wird genau so verwendet wie die “großen”, passend für Socken, welche klassisch abwärts vom Bündchen gestrickt werden, für 4-fache Sockengarne, für 3 Baby-Größen und Kindersocken- bzw die Schuhgrößen 20 – 31.“
