The characteristic pass with Christmas thorn branches and red berries is the epitome of a classic, Nordic Christmas sweater for the cold winter days.
When you put on a Christmas sweater, it’s like wrapping yourself in love and nostalgia. A warm embrace and a good reminder of the beautiful traditions and joy associated with the Christmas season

Arbeitsgang
The sweater is worked from top to bottom. The pass is knitted according to diagram. After that, the work is divided into body and sleeves. The sleeve stitches shall be withdrawn from a mesh holder while the body is knitted. The sleeve stitches are then lifted back onto the needle and the sleeves are knitted, as the body, until they have reached the specified or desired length. Stitches are used for the collar. The neck and the remaining collars of the sweater are knitted in the entangled rib pattern, and the stitches are chained off Italian.

Details about the design
The Kristtjørn Christmas Sweater is knitted from top to bottom, with shortened rows under the branches (diagram) to shape the neckline. This gives the sweater a beautiful, similar expression on the neck lining. The sweater has a slightly broad fit as well as wide sleeves without any weight loss. The berries at the pass are embroidered when the sweater is ready. The placement of the berries you decide for yourself. Therefore, this is not described.
