The TALLINN shawl It was surrounded by the weather and nature of the Baltic Sea. The design is worked in the Chevron pattern from one end to the other. The pattern is divided into strips with two different yarns. It is constantly alternated between knitting with a double and a vanity thread to create a unique texture in the shawl. The Chevron pattern is lined by a border of Krau’s right pattern to make the borders straight and minimalistic. The length of the shawl can be individually designed on request.

For this shawl, two yarn qualities in thickness lace are required. It is recommended to work with a mohair yarn on one of the yarn qualities in order to keep the idea of texture in the shawl.

The knitting manual has a medium-heavy knitting level and is very suitable for knitters with experience or knitting beginners in search of a challenge.

The following basic knitting techniques are required:

• The classical mesh stop
• Knitting of right and left stitches
• 1 loop right entangled knit
• 1 Stitch as to lift off to the left knitting, the working thread lies before work
• Classical stringing of stitches

The following special knitting techniques are shown as tutorials (photo and text) in the manual:

• 2 stitches knitted together on the right (inclination to the right)
• 2 stitches overlaid on the right (inclination to the left)
• The increases technique from the transverse thread with the inclination to the right and to the left
• Cut together 3 stitches covered on the right (minimum 2 stitches)

The knitting instructions include a text, a cut sketch and the photo tutorials as well as a knitting diagram for the Chevron pattern to better illustrate the knitting process.

Yarn A: 3 balls or 150 g (50 g = 315 m) of Japansk Bomuld (100 % cotton) of Isager Yarn
and
Yarn B: 3 balls or 75 g (25 g = 210 m) by Silk Mohair (70% mohair, 30% silk) by Isager Yarn in color 1009

NADE RECOMMENDATION
3,0 mm and 3,5 mm with 100 cm of rope knitting needles or a needle size suitable for the gauge
