Spring shawl

The design was inspired by spring with its delicate colors, fresh flowers and first buds. Long, bright days, fresh air with flower fragrance and birdsong invite after a dark and cold winter to walk and enjoy nature. Even if spring brings the first warm days, the weather can often be fresh and uncomfortable. A warm shawl with playful pattern is just the right thing.

The shawl has a crescent shape and is knitted from the upper middles to the opposite edge with the increases at the edges. The design begins with the Kraus Right pattern and allows you to get used to the increases and shape of the project first, without having to think much about a complicated pattern. Only later does the hole pattern begin and provide a lot of variety in the knitting process.

The knitting manual includes a step-by-step description, knitting tutorials, a schematic representation for the three-sided stitch stop and a knitting diagram for the hole pattern.

2 strands of singles from LITGL (100% merino wool, 366 m – 100 g) and
4 balls Silk Mohair Miss Tender (72% Kid Mohair and 28% silk, 210 – 25g)
The shawl is knitted with double thread (a thread with the wool and a mohair thread together).

NADE RECOMMENDATION
5.0 mm circular knitting needles with a 100 cm rope
and 5,0 mm crochet needle
or a needle size suitable for the gauge.
Optional: 5.5 mm needle for chaining
