Cambersands Sweater

The Cambersands sweater consistently features a simple braid pattern that creates a subtle texture reminiscent of waves in the sand, paired with an oversized fit that falls perfectly.

The sweater is knitted from top to bottom. The neckline is initially knitted in rounds in the classic rib pattern; the pass is further knitted in rounds with shortened rows and increases on each shoulder for shaping. Then the front and back are knitted individually in back and forth rows and then joined together in rounds on the forearms. Sleeve stitches are then picked up on each armhole and knitted in rounds. The sizes 4, 5 and 6 have decreases on the sleeve, which ensure a better fit on the wrist. The short rows on the neckline and sleeves create the perfect fit for this oversized silhouette. All edges are worked in the classical rib pattern.

Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) are intended for an actual breast circumference of 75–85 (90–100, 105–115, 120–130, 135–145, 150–160) cm. A positive ease of 37-47 cm is provided.

350 (400, 400, 450, 500, 550) g Tweed by Isager (70% Wolle und 30% Mohair; 50 Gramm und ca. 200 Meter)
175 (200, 200, 225, 250, 275) g Silk Mohair by Isager (75% Super Kid Mohair 25% Seide; 25g = 212 m)

Gauge
17 stitches x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm with needle no 5 mm each with a thread tweed together with mohair, after washing and tensioning.
