KOLDING by Chris Berlin
This scarf is a permanent favorite in our shop. Everyone who sees him wants to knit him sooner or later (and does). Some already knit a second or third copy.
We like it best with very thin wool / silk paired with a very fine mohair. That is why we prepared the knitting kit with the Lima and Premia of Lamana. This makes it easy, voluminous and super noble.
The designer knitted a block with a different color at the end of the original (and specified in the instructions). This has never wanted to make one of us, ours have all become monochrome, so we only put on one color. If you want to have a contrast color, just write it to us and we'll change that.

The scarf is knitted with different rib patterns, smooth right, and patent. It becomes nicely wide towards the middle and then knitted in opposite directions again narrower. In the manual of Chris Berlin, all this is described exactly

33-83 cm Breite und 190 cm Länge –> mit unserer Garnkombi wir er ein bisschen größer werden.

27 m and 32 rows = 10 cm in smooth right, washed and blocked.

MATERIAL
LIMA by Lamana 50% Merino wool 25% Baby Alpaca 25% silk (50 grams about 200 meters) in common (i.e. double-threaded) with the PREMIA by Lamana 60% Superkid Mohair 40% silk (25 grams 300 meters)
Garnverbrauch insgesamt 1554 Meter -> Das sind 8 Knäuel Lima und 6 Knäuel Premia (außer Du schummelst etwas in der Mitte dann hast Du mit 5 Knäuel Premia genug…)

Yarn alternatives
You can use many yarn alternatives here, you need about 1600 meters.
Preisgünstigere Varianten wären: Lang Yarns „Alpaka Soxx“ oder andere 4 fädige Sockenwolle (mit diesen Garnen ohne Mohair wird er etwas zarter)
