The Stornoway-Sweater is characterized by stripes and texture as well as an oversized fit and ensures a pleasant knitting experience and a modern look. Combine your sweater with jeans for a relaxed, stylish and cozy look.
First, the back is knitted in rows, with increases to shape the shoulders. Then, stitches are ingested to shape each shoulder and at the same time the neck. The forehead is joined together and knitted in back and forth rows; then the forehead and back are joined together and the underarm stitches are strung. The body is then knitted in rounds. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole opening and knitted in rounds with removals. Finally, stitches are picked up and knitted on the neck cutout in the rib pattern. All ribs are chained using the Italian chaining technique.

The Stornoway sweater has a positive ease (=comfort allowance) of about 43 cm, which means that it is about 43 cm larger in circumference than your chest circumference.
