GRAPE AND GRAMMA is an elegant sweater knitted smoothly on the right with a characteristic pattern in weaving technology. The weaving pattern is a simple technique to knit a multi-color pattern without processing multiple colors at the same time. This means that what looks like Fair Isle Knitting in this project is made with only one color.

The sweater is worked from top to bottom and does not have to be sewn together. First, stitches are struck at the top of the shoulder line, which lies on the front and the front is knitted in rows to below the arm neckline. Afterwards, the two shoulder parts are produced, which are connected to the rear and are also knitted to below the arm cutouts. There, the front and rear are connected to the body, which is worked down in rounds. Stitches for the sleeves are received around the arm cutouts, which are finished with ribs in the entangled rib pattern. Shortened rows are made on the front, back and sleeves, giving the sweater a really great cut.

Sizes
1 (2) 3 (4) 5
Chest circumference knitted: 104 (112) 128 (144) 152 cm
Length 1: 53 cm
Length 2: 61 cm
Sleeve length 1: 46 cm
Sleeve length 2: 49 cm
Sleeve length 3: 51 cm
sleeve length 4: 53 cm

It is very different how much freedom of movement you want to achieve on your knitted piece. Take measure of your favorite sweaters. So the decision regarding the appropriate size may be easier for you. The sleeve length depends on your body size and how much freedom of movement your sweater should have. In general, the sleeve length becomes shorter the greater the range of movement. This also applies to the two sweaters I wear in the pictures in the manual.
The range of movement of my version 1 is 45 cm, which was knitted in length 1 and sleeve length 1.
The range of movement of my version 2 is 21 cm, which was knitted in length 1 and sleeve length 3.
