The Volare Cape is an open sweater with a cape-like silhouette and striking bat sleeves in the style of the 80s. Hence also the name VolareLatin for ‘flying’. Volare impresses with minimalistic and elegant details, such as a soft roller collar edge and a smooth knitted pattern on the right. Another refined detail is the left knitted stitches on the back. They create the illusion of a seam. The heavy camel yarn and silk mohair give the sweater a flowing case and underline its expressive look.

KONSTRUKTION

The neckline of Volare is knitted into rounds and then divided to work increases. These form the shoulder line. After that, the knitted piece is divided into front and back parts, which are knitted separately – these also form the armhole. After that, sleeve stitches are picked up from the front and back parts and knitted in back and forth rows to shape the opening for the body. The sleeve is then knitted in rounds and with removals. The body is formed by knitting the front and back parts separately to the end.

SCHWIERIGKEITSGRAD

Medium to difficult. This is due to the atypical construction, the instructions themselves do not contain difficult techniques.
