Boreas takes its name from Boreas (/ˌbɔːri.əs/) the god of the wintry north wind in Greek mythology. The inspiration for the sweater is the sweater silhouettes of the 90s, often inspired by workwear and the more masculine constructions. For example, the neckline was inspired by the polo collar, but it does not have a collar to keep a feminine look. Boreas has a casual and boxy fit and the special construction of the neckline can be styled in many ways. Play with it and carry it as openly as you like.

KONSTRUKTION

First, the back part is worked in back and forth rows, here the braids and the pearl pattern are established. Stitches for the left shoulder are then picked up and the left front part is knitted. The right front part is then worked accordingly. Under the armhole, the parts are connected and work is continued in rounds until the desired length is reached. Subsequently, stitches are picked up along the armholes and the sleeves are worked in a double moss stitch.

In the images shown, the gr. 1 is worn, with a movement latitude of 41 cm. It is recommended to choose a range of movement of at least 10 cm and not more than 50 cm.

Gauge in double moss stitch:

20 M x 30 Rh = 10 x 10 cm in double moss stitch with needle size 4,5 mm before laundry.

19 M x 28 Rh = 10 x 10 cm in double bead sample needle size 4.5 mm after washing.

Gauge for braids:

Celtic cable (cable3): 20 M x 30 Rh = 7 x 10 cm on needles 4,5 mm After laundry.

horseshoe braid (braid2): 20 M x 29 Rh = 6 x 10 cm with needle size 4.5 mm, After laundry
