Kashmir somehow has this reputation that you have to treat it like a museum piece – preferably just behind glass, with a sign “Don’t attack please”. We noticed that Kashmir feels most comfortable when it is in the middle of everyday life. In the coffee house, where a scarf from Kashmir gets a small splash of milk froth. In the office, between keyboards, notes and cake breaks. And in the evening? In the evening, Kashmir is long on the sofa, half ceiling, half life companion.
Kashmir is actually not the diva that many see in it. Kashmir just joins without being offended if it gets a bit chaotic. It is actually not a yarn for the Sunday cabinet, but one that you can take with you anywhere.
And that is exactly what Sabine has now recognized. She has currently so firmly integrated Kashmir into her everyday life that she has therefore quickly imposed her own small “client ban” – but back to the beginning:
A customer came to us because they Honey Jacket I wanted to knit Anne Ventzel. Before ordering knitting kit and wool, she wanted to consult with us personally about the color choice and know how much yarn she would need if she wanted the Eco Cashmere Vintage from Gepard Garn Take, perhaps even in combination with Cashmere Lace (Also, by Gepard). Such requests loves Sabine hot. So she threw herself enthusiastically into the wool bill and lost herself so completely in her wool dreams that the noble Eco Cashmere vintage in Wollweiss is now actually randomly at her home on the sofa.
But don't stay alone! Because two more balls joined them. Cashmere Lace in silver and cream. Well, if this is not an oversized knitting scalation, then we do not know either. And because Sabine always likes to have “a bite” too much of everything she wants, she has imposed a customer ban on herself as a precautionary measure.
So if you find them in our shop, please do not ask knitting questions to them for their own protection and also not address mails directly to them. (Of course only a joke, but as it is: a spark of truth is already there.)
We think that every one of us – including Sabine, of course – deserves a bit of luxury in everyday life. And because we are so beautiful in the Kashmir theme, we will stay right away. In the quiet hope that Sabine does not immediately make a few balls disappear in her sofa crevices.
Because there is something new: a wool of Sandnes Garn that is quite simple „Cashmere“ heißt. Sounds simple, but is quite exclusive – spun from the fine undercoat of the Kashmir goat. Warm, light, silky soft!
Whether small scarf for in between or large heart project, the yarn fits anywhere where it may be a bit more. More comfort, more quality and this very special feeling that you would like to never take your knitted piece off again.
In line with this, we have of course also created knitting kits for you to get started right away:
We continue with a news that fits at least as well into your knitting everyday life as Kashmir: the new knitting magazine from Lana Grossa in cooperation with: Sinchens. Both – the magazine and Kashmir – have one thing in common: they simply must not be missing in the lives of gifted knitters.
This magazine is not about which yarn fits which instructions or vice versa. It's about you. It's about your preferences, your colors, your feeling of knitting. You decide which material appeals to you and best suits your style.
You will find two timeless designs with classic raglan passes – a sweater and a jacket. The special thing: Both models will Seamless and top-down knitted or crocheted. And because knitting should be fun and not degenerate into calculating work, the instructions were immediately five different gauges (from 15 to 24 stitches to 10 cm) calculated for you. So you don't have to convert anything and you don't have to knit a size. You can just jump right into the knitting pleasure.
You may be wondering where you are now. Sinchens You've heard it before. Maybe you remember the EmiscarfWhich we introduced to you a few weeks ago? And if not – no problem, we will gladly help you a bit on the jumps.
And the very moment we tell you about cuddly cashmere and glittering scarves – and even if some of you probably don’t want to hear it yet, we still have to say it: Christmas is in just under two months. Yes, we already see the eyes rolling and feel how some of you almost reflexively move the cursor to the X. But stay with us for a moment! We are convinced that you will be grateful if we start a little earlier this year to get you in the Christmas spirit.
We have great sock yarns for you who are literally screaming to be entangled in loving Christmas presents:
We hope it was worth it to stay tuned until the end – and that we could give you a good bit of knitting inspiration again. In this sense: treat yourself to a bit of luxury and enjoy the first cold knitting days. In 14 days we will read again here.
