The KAREN MITTENS fit the KAREN HOOD, my contribution to the Isager Archives 2 collection. The main feature of the gloves are the zigzag strips, which form a V-shape towards the fingers.<\/p>\n
They are knitted from the fret in the direction of the finger. First the ribbon is knitted, then the gloves are knitted round, whereby the zigzag pattern is created by increasing and decreasing. At the same time, the contrast strips are knitted. The position of the thumb is marked with an auxiliary thread after the first zigzag strip. The thumb is knitted last.<\/p>\n
