\nEasy Wash is an environmentally friendly alternative to the commonly used chlorine process, which changes the surface of the fibers so that they do not run in easily when washing. The process consists of a treatment with environmentally friendly oxidizing agents, which are produced in Germany and certified according to the standards REACH, Oeko-Tex and ZDH (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemical). Unlike most other machine-washable yarns currently on the market, this process does not release harmful substances into the environment.<\/p>\n
\nIt\u2019s the first time Isager has used a chemically made fiber, but they simply couldn\u2019t find a yarn that was both soft enough to wear comfortably and strong enough to be used for socks. Recycled nylon is produced from a residual product which is disposed of in normal nylon production.<\/p>\n
