It was from Novita, the legendary Finnish yarn company that participated in my life since my first stitches.\u2028 <\/em><\/span>They asked, Do you want to create a yarn together?<\/em><\/span> Novita war das Garn, mit dem ich als Kind zu stricken lernte und neben meiner Mutter und meiner Gro\u00dfm\u00fctter sa\u00df. We tested spinnings and mixtures. We have created a color palette inspired by landscapes and memories that live in my heart.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n The result? Two yarn weights, DK and Fingering Weight (4 -ply), made from the fibers of the British Blue Leicester, Bluefaced Kerry Hill<\/strong> and\u00a0 Falkland wool<\/strong> Spun in Yorkshire.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Das DK-Gewicht war Liebe bei der ersten Ber\u00fchrung. Die Fingerversion brauchte zwei Versuche, genau richtig zu werden.\u2028Und die erste Farbe, die wir getestet haben? Ein weiches Olivengr\u00fcn, jetzt „Earthy Olive“.\u2028 Als ich die Schachtel \u00f6ffnete und diese Str\u00e4nge sah, bekam ich G\u00e4nsehaut. Ich weinte.\u2028Und ich l\u00e4chelte so breit, dass es weh tat.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Vor ein paar Wochen kehrten wir nach Yorkshire zur\u00fcck, um einen kurzen Dokumentarfilm \u00fcber die Herstellung dieses Garns zu filmen. Wir fotografierten auch ein Lookbook auf den Mauern im Dorf, in dem die Bront\u00eb -Schwestern einst lebten. Es war neblig, wild, sch\u00f6n – und voller Bedeutung.
