The Siri Cardigan with braid pattern is a manageable project. The few but well-placed braids are combined with a small, fine pattern in a double moss stitch that looks great in both a voluminous blow yarn and a combination of wool and mohair. The Siri Cardigan has a braid on both sleeves and two braids on both fronts. The back is made exclusively in a double moss stitch.<\/p>\n

\nThe cardigan is worked from top to bottom. Apertures and collars on the neck cutout are made last. First, raglan increases are made and the neckline on the fronts is formed by shortened rows. Afterwards, the pass is divided into body and sleeve and all parts are completed separately. The sleeves are knitted in rounds. The first rows are described in detail row by row and shown in the diagram. The chart provides a much faster overview than the text, so I would recommend following the chart or a combination of chart and text, but choose the method that suits you.<\/p>\n
