The inspiration was provided by two patterns from the archives of the 60s and 70s – a waist-waisted blouse with button bar and a loom-knit waistcoat, both typical of the time.
Together, Tove Shirt & Rock form an elegant set – or the shirt blouse can be combined with your favorite pants and the skirt with a classic shirt. Both parts are knitted from spinning, which was also used in the two original instructions – now together with a thread made of silk mohair.
Tove shirt is knitted from top to bottom. First, the collar is knitted in the rib pattern and then the pass is knitted in plain weave with one or more contrast colors. The torso and sleeves are held in smooth knit and inserts are knitted in to form the waist. The sleeves are provided with ribbons knitted in the weaving pattern.

Sizes and dimensions
XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL)
Knitted breast circumference: 76 (82) 87 (93) 100 (109) 120 (129)cm
fits a breast circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140)cm with a negative range of movement of 5 cm (i.e. your breast circumference minus 5 cm; the sweater is designed to be body-stressed).
Total length: 57 (58) 59 (61) 63 (65) 67 (69)cm

MATERIAL All yarns from Isager Denmark
Isager Spinni (100% wool running length 300 m / 50 grams) together with Isager Silk Mohair (75% Super Kid Mohair 25% silk 25 gram balls about 212 meters)
Spinni: 200 (200) 200 (200) 200 (250) 250 (300) Gramm
Silk Mohair: 125 (125) 125 (150) 150 (150) 150 (175) Gramm
Es wird insgesamt 2 -fädig gestrickt – 1 Faden Spinni 1 Faden Silk Mohair

For the contrast stripes: 4 colors Spinni 1 strand (one-threaded) or 4 colors Silk Mohair (this then taken double-threaded)

Gauge: 22 stitches x 28 rows; knitting needle No 3 + 4

On Instagram under #toveshirt you can watch great photos of the sweater.

Exciting background information about the Isager Archive collection, by Helga Isager:

All designers and their models, in the order in which the knitting instructions appear:
Anne Ventzel — Karla Cape
Lene Holme Samsoe – Inge Sweater
Myfavoritethingsknitwear – Norma Sweater
Petiteknit – Esther Cardigan
Aegyoknit – Gerda Sweater
Otherloops – Johanne Loop Sweater
Hannerimmen – Aase Sweater
Odd_row – Tove Shirt + Skirt
Helga Jona – Rita Jacke
Knitthing
Camilla Vad
Helga Isager – Kirsten Shirt

The englische You can buy instructions directly from the designer: *for guidance*

The knitting kit contains the corresponding quantity of ORIGINAL Wool for the size you have chosen.
