The simple, yet recognizable pattern of regular right and left stitches has a timeless quality. It’s the kind of knitwear you’d like to find in your grandfather’s closet and take home right away. Mette Wendelboe Okkels, Petiteknit

The Esther Jacket is worked from top to bottom in the structure pattern. First, the upper part of the back is done with increases. After that, the shoulders are made of picked up stitches at the top of the back. The body shall be knitted in rows. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the arm cutouts, which are then worked down in rounds. Finally, the diaphragms and a ribbed tuft on the neck cutout take place.

Knit first a stitch sample to determine the needle size that suits you. Please make the gauge following the diagram in the instructions.

Größenguide

The Esther Jacket should have a range of movement (positive ease) of about 24 cm for the smaller sizes and a gradually smaller range of movement for the larger sizes. The dimensions of the finished jacket can be found on the title page. Take measurements of yourself before you begin the actual knitting to determine the size that suits you best. If your breast circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S, as it has a breast circumference of 114 cm and the range of movement (positive ease) in the mentioned example is 24 cm.

Sizes and dimensions
Sizes: XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL)

Knitted chest umang: 104 (109) 114 (119) 124 (129) 134 (144) 154 (161) cm

length: 52 (54) 56 (58) 59 (60) 63 (66) 68 (70) cm

MATERIAL
Jensen Yarn from Isager (100% wool 1 strand has 50 grams with 125 lfm) double-threaded with
Highland Wool by Isager (100% merino wool from South America running length 275 m/ 50 grams)

Yarn 1 : Jensen Yarn (photo color 0)
350-400 (400) 400 (450) 450 (450) 500 (500) 550 (550) g Jensen Yarn by Isager Yarn together with
Yarn 2: Isager Highland Wool (am Foto Farbe E0)
350 (350-400) 400 (400) 400 (400-450) 450 (450) 500 (500) g Highland Wool

You also need 5 buttons.

Gauge: 16 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in the sample on needle No 5 mm

The following knitting needles are required: circular knitting needle No. 5 mm 40, 60, 80 and/or 100 cm and No. 4.5 mm 60, 80 and/or 100 cm

double-pointed needles No 4.5 mm

Exciting background information about the Isager Archive collection, by Helga Isager:

All designers and their models, in the order in which the knitting instructions appear:
Anne Ventzel — Karla Cape
Lene Holme Samsoe – Inge Sweater
Myfavoritethingsknitwear – Norma Sweater
Petiteknit – Esther Cardigan
Aegyoknit – Gerda Sweater
Otherloops – Johanne Loop Sweater
Hannerimmen – Aase Sweater
Odd_row – Tove Shirt + Skirt
Helga Jona – Rita Jacke
Knitthing
Camilla Vad
Helga Isager – Kirsten Shirt

You can buy the German manual directly from PetiteKnit *for guidance*

Those colors marked with “backorder” are ready for shipment within 7 – 14 working days
If you order other items at the same time, please note that everything is shipped together.

[143
373,2054,3211,3077,2675,1982
post-34872","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-strickkits","product_tag-damen-designs","product_tag-highland-wool","product_tag-isager-archiv-kollektion","product_tag-jacke","product_tag-jensen-yarn","product_tag-petiteknit","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-composite
["GET
