Smilla\u2019s Sleeves is a large, feminine soul warmer with a simple braid pattern that I use in many of my guides. The soul warmer is worked from the neck down. First is the neck cutout in the neck and the back. New stitches for the front sides are then picked up along the shoulders. Under the arm cutouts, the front and back are collected on a needle and the fuselage is made in rows up to the lower edge. Subsequently, stitches are picked up around the arm cutouts for the sleeves, which are knitted in rounds.<\/p>\n
When choosing size, you should take your shoulder width as a starting point. On the shoulders, you usually have a completely different size than, for example, on the chest circumference, which is why you may have to decide on a different size than usual. Try a cardigan from your wardrobe and imagine it without fronts. This may be of help to you with the dimensions given here in the size selection.<\/p>\n
