As you know, we are always looking for the most beautiful yarns for you and of course for us. Because only if we are convinced of it ourselves, we recommend wool to you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our latest discovery is the wool dyeing company \u201cLife in the Long Grass\u201d or \u201cLITLG\u201d for short.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LITLG originated in a hundred-year-old farmhouse in rural Ireland. After the restoration of the dilapidated estate, an in-house dye shop was built on the adjacent field in order to be able to lead the company exactly according to the values that are important to the founders: Sustainability, care, quality, ethical yarns and the employment of locals.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All yarns are carefully selected, ensuring that they come from ethical farms in Uruguay, Peru, England, Argentina, France or Portugal. All these farms work mulesing-free, because only in this way can sheep be treated appropriately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When dyeing the yarns, too, great importance is attached to the protection of the environment. Thus, only natural dyes are used and the water needed for the dyeing is reused to avoid waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Values that we at Wolle & Staune can fully reconcile with our own principles. Why \u201cLITLG\u201d should no longer be missing in our range.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SINGLES <\/strong>by \u201cLife in the Long Grass\u201d is a wonderful merino yarn for shawls or fine clothes. It not only impresses with high quality \u2013 the fine shimmer also gives the yarn a noble note. The yarn can be compared to \u201cSkinny Singles\u201d by \u201cHedgehog Fibres\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n
